METAV 2020 is postponed to March 2021. It will now take place from 23 to 26 March 2021.
After METAV 2020, which was originally scheduled to take place from 10 to 13 March this year, had to be postponed due to the corona epidemic, it was all the more important for the organisers to find a replacement date quickly so that exhibitors could plan ahead with certainty. Optimistically, one could assume that the corona problem will be solved by the beginning of 2021. There is also a well-founded expectation that the economy will improve again at the beginning of next year. For example, mechanical engineering, as one of the most important customer sectors for the machine tool industry, is expecting a strong revival in demand once the corona crisis has been overcome.
In 2021, METAV will be the most important trade fair for metalworking in the first half of the year and will set the pace for investment decisions, especially in the German market and Benelux countries.
