This year will see the third Global Cider Forum taking place at the Frankfurt School of Finance on 9th and 10th October 2019. Representing the UK and the largest member of the European Association, the National Association of Cider Makers (NACM) has again been closely involved in developing the programme for the forum. “The response to previous years was excellent and this year we have attracted a wide range of speakers who will look at the fastest growing cider markets across the globe, what is happening in the more established markets, as well as looking at the broader trends that impact cider makers everywhere” says Fenella Tyler, President of AICV and Chief Exec of the NACM, “Last year we had more than 150 participants from all over the world and this year we expect even more. As the cider category continues to grow rapidly, the need for the industry to join together annually is vitally important.”
Under the patronage of the German Federal Minister of Agriculture Julia Klöckner, the forum will launch on the evening of the 9th October with the famous cider reception, and an opportunity to try a wide and varied range of ciders from around the world. The reception is followed by the relaxed and informal networking dinner, which provides a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and meet new faces from across the broader cider industry. Over the two days in October, this is a great opportunity to bring the world of cider together.
