To celebrate the winning of the Baden-Württemberg Innovation Award 2021, ZECHA Hartmetall Werkzeugfabrikation GmbH decided the best way to show why this tool-line won is just to let one run…and for as long as it can.
Zecha will be loading their new Kern milling machine with only 1 tool; a 1 mm 2-flute ball, load the machine with copper blanks, and let it machine commemorative coins until the tool dies. This tool will have a dedicated live camera on it the entire time.
