A few days before Zoomark opening, the international pet food and pet care show, scheduled for 15th-17th May 2023 at BolognaFiere, Pet Vision Awards 2023 – dedicated to the most innovative products on display – finalists have been announced.
The winners will be rewarded on Tuesday 16th May in the Pet Vision area (hall 16). This area presents new products and services divided into the five megatrends that will characterize the pet market of the future.
The finalists for the five megatrend categories
A jury of experts, composed by international trade journalists, has proclaimed the products and services that best interpret or anticipate the five key market trends, thanks to their high level of innovation, technology, creativity, functionality and sustainability.
The finalists for each category are:
- Inside Value for money category, composed of products and services that offer an excellent price to quality ratio:
- Belcando Baseline: dog food range for pet owners who are looking for super premium products at good prices (Bewital Petfood Gmbh & Co. Kg)
- Carnie Real Meat, Premium Pate: wet food range with high percentages of meat, formuled to give a premium feel to price-conscious consumers (Borysfen Trade Llc)
- MyPetStory; an innovative app for pet lovers, but also distributors and retailers (My Pet Story Sp. Z.O.O)
- Among products and services that stand out for their significant level of environmental sustainability and social responsibility (Green transition):
- PAWR’s Superfoods: plant-based dog food with superfoods (Pawr)
- Proteinsect: insect-based snack range (Rinaldo Franco Spa)
- Whisker-friendly slow-feeder bowl for cats (Ajour Bv)
- The finalists for Healthy & functional category (products and services created for health and/or functional purposes, designed to fulfil specific needs and functions) are:
