On Friday 23 January 2026, there will be two events at Kilometro Rosso: in the morning, the\u00a0General Assembly of Mechatronics\u00a0will take place in the auditorium of Confindustria Bergamo, and in the afternoon, the\u00a0inauguration of JOiiNT LAB 2.0\u00a0will be held.<\/strong><\/p>\n

General Assembly of Mechatronics<\/strong>
\nFrom 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., on the occasion of the General Assembly of Mechatronics, the topic will be \u2018New factories, new skills: mechatronics in the era of Artificial Intelligence.\u2019 The event is part of the activities leading up to the A&T Torino 2026 Fair and sees the collaboration of: A&T – Automation & Testing, Confindustria Bergamo, Fabbrica Intelligente, Consorzio Intellimech and Kilometro Rosso. Speakers will include: Giovanna Ricuperati – President of Confindustria Bergamo, Salvatore Majorana – Director of Kilometro Rosso, Sergio Cavalieri – Rector of the University of Bergamo, Luciano Malgaroli – CEO of Fiera A&T, Gianluigi Viscardi – President of Cluster Fabbrica Intelligente, Andrea Bianchi – President of ANIE Automazione, Giorgio Metta – Scientific Director of the Italian Institute of Technology, Giorgia Garola – President of AMMA and Vice-President of Unione Industriali Torino, Roberto Vavassori – Chief Public Affairs Officer of Brembo, Maria Chiara Franceschetti – President of Gefran, Marco Bentivogli – Expert in Labour, Innovation, AI and Industry, Gianluca D’Urso – Professor at the University of Bergamo, Guido Guidesi – Councillor for Economic Development, Lombardy Region<\/p>\n

Inauguration of JOiiNT LAB 2.0<\/strong>
\nIn the afternoon,\u00a0starting at 2.30 pm, the inauguration of JOiiNT LAB 2.0 will take place as part of the event: ‘Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for the Industry of the Future. JOiiNT LAB 2.0: the value of a public-private ecosystem”, organised by the Italian Institute of Technology, Consorzio Intellimech, JOiiNT LAB, Confindustria Bergamo, Kilometro Rosso and the University of Bergamo. Speakers will include: Gabriele Galateri di Genola – President of the Italian Institute of Technology, Guido Guidesi – Councillor for Economic Development of the Lombardy Region, Salvatore Majorana – Director of Kilometro Rosso, Antonio Bicchi – Head of the SoftBots Research Unit at the Italian Institute of Technology and Full Professor at the University of Pisa, Giorgio Metta – Scientific Director of the Italian Institute of Technology, Gianluigi Viscardi – President of the Intellimech Consortium, Giovanna Ricuperati – President of Confindustria Bergamo, Sergio Cavalieri – Rector of the University of Bergamo, Manuel Catalano – JOiiNT LAB Coordinator and Researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology, Lorenzo De Michieli – Director of Technology Transfer at the Italian Institute of Technology<\/p>\n
