The signing of the agreement is now followed by the so-called closing process. This means that an antitrust approval must be obtained in the various countries where Interprint and Toppan have locations. Due to the international structure of both companies, this process takes some time and is currently in progress.
In the meantime, the Toppan Group Japan as the new owner of Interprint took the opportunity of getting to know the Arnsberg employees at the celebration party of the 50-year anniversary at the Lake Sorpe in Langscheid, to which the decor printer invited all its local employees and their family members. Hideo Yoshikawa, CEO of Toppan Europe GmbH congratulated Interprint on its anniversary and said: “We can hopefully start our joint co-operation shortly. My aim is to continue the success story of Interprint over the next 50 years – I look forward to that!”
Holger Dzeia, CSO of Interprint, about the current state of affairs: “We are pleased that the closing is going according to schedule. We assume that this process will be completed within the next weeks. We are currently working flat out on our news for the next exhibitions. We are looking forward to presenting further product innovations and trends both at ZOW and at Euroshop in February next year.
